Christmas Fair

Now that the dust has settled, the Christmas Fair Organising Team would like to thank everyone who contributed to making it a success, including;

34 volunteers from the school community (parent, grandparents, friends, etc) who helped out in every way.

Children of Primaries 6 & 7 who manned stalls and contributed so much to the festive atmosphere.

Stonelaw Boys 06 who helped man Beat the Goalie

All of the children, parents, friends and family members who contributed chocolate, bottles, toys, teddies, baking, soup and craft ware for raffles and sale.

The teaching and office staff who were so supportive, as well as the support staff at South Lanarkshire Council with a special mention for Mr Woods.

Previous organisers who were always on hand with advice when requested.

The private stall holders whose presence contributed so much to the atmosphere.

The 20 local companies and tradespeople who donated prizes for our main raffle.

and, last but not least, everyone who came along on the day to make it such a fun day out.  Not to mention contributing around £3,500 funds to the Parent Council funds which will go towards supporting parents and the school in the coming year.

You all made the day what it was.

An enormous thank you,

Gerry McGhee
Parent Council Chair (on behalf of the Organising Team)
