Drum roll please…we’re delighted to tell you that our Christmas Fayre raised a fabulous £5000!
This was achieved by your generosity as well as a wonderful donation from SSE as part of their match funding programme. Thanks to Burnside parents Julie, Chris and Jen who work for SSE and made this possible for our fabulous school fundraising. We’re so grateful to them, to you, to SSE!
Every penny of the money raised will go towards enhancing the school experience for each and every pupil at Burnside Primary from P1 through to P7. This includes funding things like school trips, the library, panto, Grow 73 and much much more.
Thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday – we appreciate your support more than we can say, Thanks also to the small team of parent volunteers who turned this year’s event around in just over two months. It was pretty full on and we’ll look ahead to what we can do in 2020 at the start of the year. For now, rest!
